Hands up who’s been enjoying this mild October weather? The drier days are a bonus, and we haven’t wasted any time keeping up our outdoor activities.

With the mid-term break on the horizon, we’re looking forward to family days out and fun activities.

For a fun day out, consider an autumnal cycling excursion. First stop should be Halford’s, for their impressive selection of family bikes, bike trailers and scooters, including locks, helmets and lights. Worried about the weather? You can pop next door to 53 Degrees North for a full set of rain gear. As the great explorer Ranulph Fiennes says, there’s no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing!
