In the medium term, IPUT intends to substantially upgrade the entirety of Carrickmines Park. IPUT has received planning permission which will build on the strengths of the existing retail park and create a neighbourhood shopping and leisure experience across all 3 phases – establishing Carrickmines Park as the premier out-of-town retail destination in Dublin.
The investment plan includes the addition of a further 650,000 sq ft of mixed-use space; comprising retail warehousing; neighbourhood retail; food & beverage outlets; leisure & entertainment space and a multi-screen cinema. The development will also include additional offices and multi-family offerings and be centred around a new landscaped urban park with direct pedestrian access to the Luas.
